James Rodriguez, Richarlison and DCL will start as front three.
Attack:
Right wing: James Rodriguez
Ancelotti did admit that James Rodriguez had a problem but has trained with the team and is alright. The Colombian will be tasked with unlocking Burnley’s tightly knit defence and creating ample of opportunities for the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score.
After a plucky upstart, James has got the taste of the brutality and physicality of the Premier league and sadly he has to live with it and find a solution through his gameplay. The 29 year old is the heart of the creative department and if he stops, the team crumbles.
Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Keeping in mind his current form, the outing against Leeds United was unimpressive. DCL missed some easy opportunities to score and was not as clinical as he generally is. However, you can never rule him out of the game. The 23 year old may have a bad day at the office in front of goal but will support the team through his off the ball qualities. His instincts need to be top notch against Burnley.
Left wing: Richarlison
Richarlison had a poor game against the Whites last week. I am hopeful that it was just one off and the Brazilian will get his mojo back against Dyche’s side. His contributions in the attack have always been recognized but his industrious nature, helping out in the dfence needs to be appreciated too.
What is your predicted score for the game?
