Here are 3 Everton players who could leave Goodison next month.

Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands managed to get some amazing pieces of transfers done in the summer transfer window adding steel in midfield and flair in the attack by signing the likes of Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Rodriguez. The likes of Ben Godfrey, Robin Olsen and Niels Nkounkou also joined the Toffees.

Everton have a gigantic squad and trimming is required. The Royal Blues also need to discard the mediocrity and find an upgrade to certain players. With the January transfer window fast approaching, here are the players who could be headed for a Goodison exit.

1. Jonjoe Kenny

Several players could exit Everton this January transfer window. Carlo Ancelotti has been changing the team’s formation recently but has mostly stuck with the same group of players, leaving some frustrated at their lack of game time.

Academy product Jonjoe Kenny is one player who could be looking for a transfer this January, having been repeatedly overlooked in recent weeks. With club captain and first choice right back Seamus Coleman out injured. The last month would have been ideal for Kenny to get a run of games.

Instead, Kenny has been left out by Ancelotti, who has preferred playing midfielders Alex Iwobi and Tom Davies as right-wing backs. Kenny’s only start in the premier league was a 2 – 1 loss at Newcastle in which he looked low on confidence.

The former Everton Under 23’s captain had enjoyed a great loan spell in the Bundesliga last season with Schalke. So not making the match day squad at the moment feels like a backwards step for a player who turns 24 in March.

There had been links to West Ham and a reunion with ex-Everton manager David Moyes during the summer but a move to a team in the bottom half of the table looks more likely in January.
