Juventus director Fabio Paratici wants to bring Moise Kean back to Turin next summer.
Juventus went into a phase of transition after Andre Pirlo arrived at the helm. He axed ageing players who were underperforming in exchange of establishing a youthful core in the team. Bianconeri bid farewell to Gonzalo Higuain and brought Alvaro Morata on loan. Pirlo also had eyes on Everton striker Moise Kean for the role of deputy No.9.
The 20 year old Italian switched Juventus black and white for Everton royal blue in summer 2019 for £27.5 million. The big bucks invested in the prodigal teenager by Toffees were a testament that Kean was not only for the present but for a long term future.
However, lack of chances in his first season at Goodison coupled with difficulties to adjust in the new country disrupted Kean’s confidence. This summer, the youngster was getting restless and wanted to move in order to get regular playing minutes.
Kean’s agent, Mino Raiola, was initially working in the summer with Juventus to arrange a return. Everton were in no mood to entertain a transfer for the 20 year old. Eventually, the Toffees ceded to the player’s demands and allowed him to go on loan.

Juve couldn’t get Kean back on loan and PSG came swooping in. The French giants bid farewell to Edinson Cavani and Eric Choupo-Moting, leaving them scarce in the striking department. Kean came as a backup to Mauro Icardi but due to the Argentine’s injury, the former Old Lady player got a chance to showcase his talent in the Parisien red and blue.
The 20 year old has hit a purple patch of form since moving to Paris, scoring 5 goals in 7 Ligue 1 games. His fine start to life in PSG has convinced sporting director Leonardo to attempt a transfer next season, once his loan deal expires.
However, Juventus club director Fabio Paratici is willing to make a second push to re-sign Kean in 2021, as per Le10 Sport. After an unsuccessful attempt in the summer, the Old Lady seem to be determined to bring the young striker back to Turin.
This could shape into a very interesting situation in the summer. Everton trusts Kean and his talents and firmly believe that he can turn around his tale in England. PSG and Juve are ready to pounce and test the Toffees’ resolve.
