Dele Alli has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham Hotspur.

2. Dele Alli

Odds: 25/1

This one is quite optimistic for Everton fans, but I also think it could be possible. Alli has been underutilised by Mourinho and it’s understandable, the former PFA Young Player of the Year doesn’t fit the mould of player Mourinho wants in his side, but it’s clear Alli is a fantastic player and Ancelotti has proven during his time in Merseyside that he can get the best out of the talent he currently has.

Due to the Englishman’s lack of playing time under Mourinho, it’s hard to wow people with his statistics from this year, but Alli’s achievements at such a young age have proved how talented he is, just take a look at his 3-year stretch starting in the 15/16 season, especially the 16/17 Premier League season.

This is the year where Alli looked like he could be world superstar, with the former MK Dons man grabbing 18 goals and 7 assists on his way to winning his second consecutive PFA Young Player of the Year. In that season Alli averaged a 7.35 rating along with 1.4 dribbles and 1.4 key passes which lead to Spurs finishing 2nd behind Chelsea and 11 points ahead of their North London rivals Arsenal.

I think a loan with an option to buy would be the right move for Everton, but with teams like PSG and Manchester United interested, Everton may have to be the first in for the Englishman with a buy. If Ancelotti can unlock the best out of Alli then he could be a key piece in Everton pushing towards the European positions.

Possibility of Transfer: 3/10

Impact: 8/10

Overall Rating: 5.5/10
