Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently one of the best strikers in Europe.
PRT: Despite the recent struggles, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is firing at all cylinders. How much of a threat is he to the Chelsea defence?
"Travis: He’s a worry but we have one of if not the very best defenders aerially in Kurt Zouma. Zouma is letting nothing get by him over six feet and for everything else, there is the intelligence of Thiago Silva and Edouard Mendy. Even with DCL flying high, we look set to make it his hardest day of the season yet."
PRT: Do Everton still look like contenders for Top 8?
"Travis: Everton are absolutely contenders for top eight. Really Europa League looks pretty doable. It will obviously depend on how long this downward spiral continues for the Toffees, but Wolves have struggled this season and Arenal isn’t even in the picture. Manchester United can’t decide if they want to be good or not. If Southampton and Leicester start to fall off, then Everton’s already looking good again. But all that will require some wins sooner rather than later."
PRT: With James Rodriguez ruled out, how much of an advantage will Chelsea have?
"Travis: Not totally sure it will be much of an advantage for us. Chelsea historically struggles the most when the odds are stacked firmly against the opposition. Our overall approach won’t really change but it might make Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva breathe a little easier knowing that a perfect pass to a striker is less likely. They can focus more on DCL and allow N’Golo Kante, the fullbacks, and the rest of midfield to focus on how it might get to him."
