Everton and PSG are targeting a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur player Dele Alli but PSG is also in the running for Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is enduring one of the toughest times in his playing career this season. He has been almost frozen out of the starting eleven by Jose Mourinho and has made just nine appearances with just one start in the Premier League. Various reports have stated that Everton are keen to end Alli’s sufferings at Spurs and offer him a way out in form of a loan deal.
PSG admire the Englishman and already enquired about the 24 year old in the summer transfer window. The Parisiens are keen on adding an attacking midfielder to their ranks and Alli certainly appears on their shortlist.
Everton have struggled to provide support to James Rodriguez and are in a dire need of a secondary playmaker as Andre Gomes and Gylfi Sigurdsson have failed to convince as a secondary playmaker.
Carlo Ancelotti is a huge admirer of Alli’s talent and will be open to having him in the team should the Toffees attempt a loan deal. Clearly, PSG are one of the biggest rivals in Alli race but things could soon change with PSG shifting their priority to Christian Eriksen.

Inter Milan signed Eriksen in January 2020 but the Dane has not settled well in Serie A and the divorce between the player and the Italian team looks evident in near future. The Nerazzurri are open to selling Eriksen in January with Manchester United, PSG and Arsenal already linked.
However, the Inter Milan misfit is not keen on returning to the Premier League. According to Daily Star, Eriksen is set to snub offers from the English Top Flight and wait for PSG. Arsenal and the Red Devils are the most linked English teams but the 28 year old favours a move to Parc des Princes.
This is highly encouraging news for the Ligue 1 champions. With Eriksen eyeing a PSG move, the attention could soon switch to him rather than Alli. If PSG can get hold of Eriksen, Everton could be very well positioned to land Alli from Spurs. The French side won’t push for Alli if they are successful in acquiring the services of Eriksen, they’ll stop their pursuit of Alli.
