Allan’s injury is a piece of highly worrying news for Everton.

Midfield:

Allan – 6

It was such a shame that Allan had to be taken off after he pulled his hamstring. As always, he looked strong and reliable. Always there to do the work that not many people talk about. The tackles, the interceptions, the closing down on opponents, breaking down the play. He would be a huge miss for Everton should he be out for a lengthy spell.

Abdoulaye Doucoure – 8.5

Abdoulaye Doucoure had one of the best games kin an Everton shirt. He was a bit sloppy early in the game but Allan’s substitution left the Frenchman with no choice but to rise to the situation and help his team. Once his partner in crime Allan was off, the former Watford man turned the engine up and rarely put a foot wrong doing all the necessary work in the middle of the park.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – 7

Gylfi Sigurdsson has looked very confident on the back of a solid performance against Chelsea. Against Leicester, the Iceman again looked in control of most of the things. His deliveries from dead ball situations were accurate and always inviting. The 31 year old is finally performing as per expectations, especially in absence of James Rodriguez.
