Arsenal have joined the chase for Everton target Isco.

At this point, it is pretty clear that the future of Isco lies away from Real Madrid. The Spaniard doesn’t feature in Zinedine Zidane’s plans and has failed to convince the Frenchman to include him in the team. Isco is in the prime of his career and sitting on the bench is not really helping his cause. An exit from Madrid seems to be the only solution if he wants to secure more game time.

Everton are big admirers of Isco’s talent and could launch a move in the January transfer window. Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez has been able to revive his career under Ancelotti at Everton and there’s no reason as to why Isco can’t do the same.

Ancelotti has some fond memories of the Spaniard from Los Blancos’ triumphant 2013-14 season where they won their record tenth UEFA Champions League title.

The Gunners are enduring the worst start to their season in 46 years and are just lingering around safety, five points above the relegation zone.

The North London club were plotting a move for Dominik Szoboszlai who is one of the hottest properties in Europe. It was set in stone that the Hungarian would leave RB Salzburg with Real Madrid, Arsenal, the Milan clubs and RB Leipzig in the running. The 19 year old has eventually decided write the next chapter of his career in Germany with Leipzig.

This will come as a blow for the Gunners who were touted as a strong possibility for Szoboszlai. Now that the Hungarian will move to Die Roten Bullen, Arsenal are eyeing Isco as Szoboszlai alternative.
