Richarlison had a nasty collision with Eric Bailly.
Attack:
Alex Iwobi – 6
Alex Iwobi too is on a roll after early season blues and was bright for some part. He did create a few tasty chances but failed to provide the sucker punch. The Nigerian has revived himself from the lowest of lows and could become a regular even after Rodriguez arrives which means the Colombian could finally play in the No.10 role. His work rate was up to the mark as always but could have done more in the final third.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6
The breaking news is that Dominic Calvert-Lewin has gone four games without scoring now. It shouldn’t be a worry at all but is surprising the amount of steam and momentum he’s had for the first half of the season. Calvert-Lewin would be disappointed not to get good ball service but was very hard working throughout the game.
Keeping the hectic run of fixtures in next 7 days, DCL could be rested or at least not be handed a start in one of the upcoming games.
Richarlison – 6
Everton were not able to get Richarlison into the game as much before the Brazilian and Iwobi switched flanks to be more decisive. Eventually, he had to be taken off after a horrible collision in the second half with Eric Bailly. Hopefully, it isn’t too bad and he’ll be available for next game.
