Isco is fed up by the lack of playing time at Real Madrid.

Isco (Real Madrid)

With this we come to the final Everton linked playmaker, Isco of Real Madrid. The Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order and is not a player that Zinedine Zidane looks up to. The 28 year old is also fed up of playing second fiddle and is open to leaving Real Madrid. His contract expires in summer 2022 and the Los Blancos want to sell him this January before his value further deteriorates.

Isco has witnessed the revival of James under Ancelotti, offering him some optimism that coming under Ancelotti’s wing will also do the trick for him. A number of clubs like Juventus, Sevilla, Arsenal continue to get linked but Everton have a trump card in form of Ancelotti. Everyone is aware of Ancelotti’s lure and the same pulling power can attract Isco to Goodison.

I would love to see Isco and James Rodriguez back together, pulling the strings of the Everton team on the field. With the other two options presenting hurdles, the path to Isco seems to be a walk in the rose garden.
