Here is the Everton predicted lineup vs Sheffield United.

Everton travel to Sheffield to face Chris Wilder’s die on Boxing Day. The Blades remain plum last in the table with zero wins out of 14 games. The Toffees will have no intention to help them break their duck as Carlo Ancelotti’s men will mean pure business after crashing out of the Carabao Cup, losing to Manchester United midweek.

James Rodriguez is ruled out for the next two games while Richarlison may have to sit out if he has concussion. Apart from the duo, Allan, Fabian Delph and Lucas Digne remain absentees. With the festive fixtures at its peak, Everton will be playing Sheffield United on Saturday and then host Manchester City on Monday, playing two games in a span of 48 hours.

The gruelling fixtures will take a toll on the players hence rotation is very much necessary. With Sheffield United struggling on all fronts, this is Ancelotti’s best chance to ring wholesale changes to the team and give some much needed rest to the core team.

Here is the Everton predicted lineup:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford is expected to return between the sticks after Ancelotti preferred Robin Olsen over the Englishman in the Carabao Cup. Pickford has seen a revival in form after the early season dip and will be expected to keep a clean sheet against Sheffield United who have joint least goals in the league.
