Anthony Gordon could get a rare start.

Attack:

Right wing: Alex Iwobi

Alex Iwobi has become bright, electric and courageous thanks to stupendous performances that started from the game against Fulham. The switch to the right wing back position and later right wide has done the trick for the Nigerian as he was able to squeeze the maximum out of himself. Sheffield defend as a back five and at times can be very stubborn to break down. Iwobi, who loves to take on defenders, can help Everton drill some holes and penetrate through the Blades defence.

Striker: Cenk Tosun

Dominic Calvert-Lewin may look like Superman when he jumps in the air but he’s only human and needs some respite from the cruel fixtures. Ancelotti has previously talked about giving Tosun more game time during this jam-packed schedule and the game against Wilder’s men presents the best chance to give Tosun some game time and rest DCL.

I am not too convinced about Tosun being the right man as Calvert-Lewin’s backup. However, he’s the best we have at the moment and could start against Sheffield United. This could be his very last chance to convince the club to keep him.

Left wing: Anthony Gordon

Richarlison had a horrific clash with Manchester United’s Eric Bailly and if the Brazilian suffers from a concussion, he’ll stay out of the team as per protocols. Perhaps, resting Richarlison will work for all parties as Pep Guardiola’s team awaits the Toffees on Monday.

Anthony Gordon has become a lost name in the squad as he’s unable to get into the starting lineup or make a few appearances. Saturday could be a chance for Gordon to start and provide a strong case as to why he needs to be included week in week out.
