Juventus are in a hurry to get rid of Everton target Sami Khedira.

Everton’s midfield has drastically improved over the course of one year. The new arrivals like Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure have elevated the levels of others around them as Tom Davies and Andre Gomes are also bucking up. However, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is still on the hunt for a new midfielder to add more steel and experience to the midfield.

The file of Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira is being duly considered in the Everton offices with the Toffees mulling over adding reinforcements in the heart of the midfield. Ancelotti admires the German, whom he coached at Real Madrid. Khedira himself has admitted that he wants to try an adventure in the Premier League boosting Everton’s hopes.

The 2014 World Cup winner has found himself undesirable in the eyes of Andrea Pirlo and out of Juventus’ plans since last season. The Bianconeri are eager to offload Khedira with a number of teams showing interest. Namely, Everton and Stuttgart are two major possibilities in the January transfer market.

According to Calciomercato, Khedira is evaluating his options keeping in mind his expectations of regular playing time, duration of contract and is in no hurry to make a decision as the transfer window runs till 1st February. However, Juventus are in a hurry to sell Khedira and do not want to wait until the summer.

The biggest reason for Juventus’ rush to sell Khedira is his salary of €6 million preseason. In a season where all clubs have been massively hit by the Corona Virus pandemic, curtailing the club finances, even the most wealthy clubs are looking into solutions of cost cutting and reducing the expenditures.

Pirlo’s ideology to form a young core in Turin can only progress once there are outgoing players who will make a place for new arrivals. The decision now lies with Khedira who carefully evaluates all options at the table.
