Here is the latest information on several transfer news and rumours concerning Everton.

The January transfer window has opened and there’s no shortage of transfer news and rumours circulating around. Carlo Ancelotti will be content with the team’s current position but would still like to strengthen the squad.

Sami Khedira to Everton?

A number of positions need to be reinforced with Ancelotti aiming to add Champions League winning experience in the form of Sami Khedira. The German remains deserted in Turin and is hoping to seal an exit to get back to playing regular football. Khedira doesn’t feature anywhere in Andrea Pirlo’s plans with Juventus pushing for an exit in January.

The idea of playing in the Premier League entices Khedira the most with the 33 year old also travelling to England to discuss a possible move. Everton remain the frontrunners to sign Khedira with the Express reporting that the Toffees are preparing a contract offer for the former Real Madrid midfielder.

The German pockets around £184,000 a week but is ready to take a significant pay cut to complete the reunion with Ancelotti. The Toffees are willing to offer him a 18 month deal.

PSG open Moise Kean negotiations

According to Sky Sports, PSG have opened negotiations with Everton for the permanent transfer of Moise Kean to Paris. The Italian is currently on loan with the French giants and has rediscovered himself, scoring 9 goals in 16 games for PSG.

The loan deal doesn’t include any option-to-buy clause but his excellent progress at Parc des Princes has pushed PSG to test Everton’s resolve with a permanent transfer offer. Earlier, the Toffees were said to have the stance of not selling the 20 year old with him being part of a long term project but as per the report, Everton are willing to consider an offer as long as they do not have cut losses on Kean.

PSG are offering somewhere around £31 million to make the move permanent, an amount that should be acceptable to the Royal Blues.

Reports have been flying around about a possible swap deal between Roma and Everton that would see Olsen move to Merseyside permanently whereas Bernard would make the switch to Italy. The Brazilian is admired by Giallorossi boss Paulo Fonseca, who he worked with at Shakhtar and now a reunion could be on the cards.
