Everton face Leeds United on Wednesday evening 7:30 PM GMT kickoff.
Everton travels to Yorkshire to face Leeds United with an aim to bounce back from a dreadful defeat to Newcastle United. Leeds United are coming back off a strong away win against Leicester City. Everton have an impressive away record, winning six of the nine away games played, giving hope of clinching another win against a stern side.
The winter transfer window slammed shut on 1st February which was culminated by a very hectic transfer deadline day. Everton managed to sign Joshua King on loan from AFC Bournemouth while also sending players out on loan.
Carlo Ancelotti provided an update on the injury list while also explained the idea of having King at Goodison Park. Fabian Delph is finally back with the squad and ready for selection but Allan and Jean-Philippe Gbamin remain sidelined. Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is out for the next game due to a side injury but could be back for the Saturday game against Manchester United.
Here is the Everton predicted lineup:
Goalkeeper: Robin Olsen
There weren’t any surprises here. With Pickford out, Robin Olsen naturally replaces him between the sticks. The permanent transfer of Jonas Lossl to FC Midtjylland has made it clear that the Toffees will try to redeem Olsen in the summer transfer window. The Swedish keeper has made five appearances and managed to keep two clean sheets. He has been sharp and very professional, hardly committing any blunders so far.
