The fixtures continue to come thick and fast for Everton as they prepare for an FA Cup 5th round tie against Tottenham Hotspur this Wednesday evening.

Everton have bounced back from a disappointing result against Newcastle United with a win against Leeds and a dramatic last-gasp draw against Manchester United this past weekend.

The Toffees will be hoping to take this positivity into Wednesday’s game as they attempt to reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup for the first time since the 2015/16 season.

The opponents for tomorrow’s game are a Spurs side that have been on a disappointing run in recent weeks. Before Sunday’s victory against West Brom, Jose Mourinho’s side had lost three games on the bounce, against Liverpool, Brighton and Chelsea. But Tottenham will always offer a threat, particularly with the likes of Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane in the side.

Carlo Ancellotti’s team have already shown that they can beat Spurs this season, coming away with a 1-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the opening day of this campaign. But with Allan still ruled out through injury and new signing Joshua King cup-tied, as well as a couple of question marks over player’s fitness, Carlo will have some big decisions to make when it comes to the starting line-up for tomorrow’s game.

Here is how we think the Blues will line-up:

Goalkeeper: Robin Olsen

Robin Olsen had been the picture of consistency in the games he had played in before Everton’s trip to Old Trafford this past Saturday. But his performance against the Red Devils was far from convincing.

The Swede’s distribution was poor throughout the game, and his questionable display was brought into the spotlight for United’s third goal, as they regained the lead through a soft goal after an untimely slip from Olsen.

But, with Jordan Pickford still a doubt for tomorrow’s game, Olsen could keep his place between the sticks and he will be keen to prove that his last performance was just a blip on his solid recent form.
