Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin must start upfront.

Attack:

Right wing: James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez could be deployed on the right wing but it is almost written in stone that he’ll drift inside to take control of the ball and dictate the game. Southampton do like to lineup themselves high up the pitch which will give Rodriguez plenty of chances to spray passes that can split the Saints defence. With Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison to start, the Colombian will be in charge of providing service to the lethal front men.

Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

DCL came off the bench and won a penalty that was calmly converted by Gylfi Sigurdsson against Liverpool. He’s ready to start and will be hoping to get back on the scoring charts against a defence that has conceded a whopping 24 goals in last eight league matches. The Englishman would be itching to strike the ball and see the orb in the back of the net.

Left wing: Richarlison

Richarlson’s return to form eased Everton’s worries in the attack. The Brazilian has four goals in last four games which will give him huge confidence going forward. The suspicions regarding Richarlison have been put to rest as he and Calvert-Lewin can wreak havoc on Southamtpon’s defence if they are too careless.
