Jordan Pickford is having a rich run of form since returning from injury

Jordan Pickford… That’s all…

It’s been a turbulent time in Merseyside for Jordan Pickford, he’s been loved, he’s disappointed fans, but the fans have always had his back and now he’s paying his dues. The former Sunderland shot-stopper has been fantastic after his return into the squad, single-handedly keeping Everton in certain games, and the game against West Brom was no exception.

Pickford picked up the second highest average rating (via SofaScore) of 7.5 which was well-deserved, he made three saves, one being that fantastic one-handed save early in the game. Pickford’s passing was also great, completing nine attempted long balls along with a 70% pass completion rate.

It’s also another clean sheet for the English goalkeeper, making this his third in a row, it’s clear Pickford wants to be in Gareth Southgate’s plans for the Euros, and if he continues to perform to this level for the rest of the season, then there’s no way Southgate can ignore Pickford as England’s number one.
