Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton travel to Chelsea on Monday

The confident Everton side, who have been on a solid run of nine games unbeaten on the road, travel to Stamford Bridge to face a rejuvenated Chelsea side under Tomas Tuchel. The German arrived at Chelsea after sacking of club legend Frank Lampard, in a bid to stabilize the ship and help Chelsea achieve at least a top four finish after their exorbitant spending in the summer.

The former Borussia Dortmund coach has been extremely successful in his early days at Stamford Bridge, unbeaten in 10 games (7W-3D-0L), enabling their top four charge and more importantly extracting the best out of certain players.

Everton broke the Anfield hoodoo, winning the Merseyside derby at Liverpool’s home ground after 22 years, adding another feather to the hat of away form. It is true that Everton have a startling away record this term, but the Toffees have had a barren run at Stamford Bridge for 27 years. Everton haven’t won a league game at SW6 since 1994, meaning they’ll go to Stamford Bridge in a bid to claim another generational win this season.

Chelsea may not have had revolutionary improvements but the inception of Tuchel era is positive and the club is already taking baby steps to achieve their goal for the season. The rehabilitated form combined with their plethora of talent can pose serious questions to derail Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

The Chelsea roster houses some of the most exciting attacking talents in the world, workhorse N’Golo Kante and exuberant youngsters. Here are three Chelsea players who can cause problems to Everton and need to be negotiated for the Toffees to impose themselves in the game.
