Everton travel to London to face Chelsea on Monday

Everton have an impeccable away record, unbeaten in last 10 Premier League away games (7 wins and three draws) but a resurgent Chelsea side will look to spoil this record and bring an end to this unbeaten run. Stamford Bridge has been a very difficult ground for the Toffees, with their last league win there coming in 1994.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men won the reverse fixture at Goodison Park and the Londoners will be determined to return the favour and restore the parity. This becomes an all important game for Everton as a win would propel them into Champions League places.

However, Everton do have a reputation of underperforming when there’s an opportunity to take a giant leap in the table. The gigantic win at Anfield were followed by less impressive displays yet wins against Southampton and West Brom. This team once again has been served a golden opportunity on a platter.

Carlo Ancelotti seems to be holding his cards close to the chest when it comes to injury updates. While it is confirmed that Yerry Mina, Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are out, an air of uncertainty revolves around the fitness of James Rodriguez, Robin Olsen, Tom Davies and Seamus Coleman. Last game, Abdoulaye Doucoure appeared to have suffered a knock and it is still unclear whether it was just a knock or something more serious.

Lack of Everton team injury news may keep Thomas Tuchel guessing about how the Royal Blues will line up. Here is the Everton predicted lineup:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford is unarguably in the best form of the season and keeps on building on the solid performances that he has displayed in recent games. Olsen’s availability is unknown but even if the Swede is fit, Pickford should get the nod based on his confidence and seemingly faultless performances.
