When and where to watch Everton players on International duty

4. Joshua King (Norway)

Everton attacker Joshua King is one of the most important players in the Norway team and is likely to lead the starting line alongside goalscoring sensation Erling Braut Haaland. Norway play three World Cup qualifiers and King is likely to feature in all of them.

The Scandinavian team play Gibraltar (24th March), Turkey (27th March) and Montenegro (31st March). The 29 year old is yet to start a game for Everton and playing time has also come in form of short cameos but he can expect to play a huge role in Norway’s games.

5. Robin Olsen (Sweden)

Robin Olsen was injured in the last few weeks and missed the last five Everton games. He has joined the Sweden national team but whether he starts or not remains to be seen. Even though Carlo Ancelotti said before the Man City game that the 30-year-old keeper has returned to training but is not 100% fit.

If he is to play the Sweden games, he can be found in action against Georgia (25th March) and Kosovo (28th March) in the World Cup qualifiers. Sweden are also scheduled to play an international friendly against Estonia on 31st March.

6. Alex Iwobi (Nigeria)

Alex Iwobi is the sole African player in the squad and has been called up by Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Iwobi is a key player in Gernot Rohr’s squad. Super Eagles play Benin (27th March) and Lesotho (30th March).

Iwobi had recently put up an Instagram story that read: “Always an honour to get a call up to my national team. Hopefully, I get to play in my preferred position.”

The 24 year old enjoys playing in a central role as a No.10 rather than playing on the wing. Iwobi has mostly played on the wing for Everton as well. Carlo Ancelotti openly said that if Iwobi wants to play in a particular position, the Nigerian should come and tell him.
