Everton: 3 Players Everton should keep an eye on in the International Break
Everton have several players on International duty
The international break (or a tournament) is very controversial when it comes to signing talent, there are multiple examples of clubs signing players after a fantastic run for their national team, but they’ve then flopped at the club, so it’s an area of transfer business clubs have to be very careful with as international tournaments can be very deceiving when it comes to finding talent.
However, the international break can be very useful when it comes to finding gems, clubs can spot players who they may have never thought about before and scout them, an example of one of these gems is Pavel Nedved.

The Czech winger had a fantastic Euro 96, putting in a man of the match performance against a France team that would win the next World Cup to help the Czech republic into a shocking Euros final. These performances earned him a £2m move to Lazio, where he spent five productive years before moving to Juventus for €38.7m.
Finding these gems can be a diamond in the rough, but if Everton can do their research and scout these players before the Euros, then it could lead to a bargain signing that the Toffees might have missed out on after the Euros, but there also players who play football who may not get much attention for their international performances because of the Euros, so now is the perfect time for Everton to scout some future transfer targets, or to find those gems that can change a club’s fortune for the better.
A warning in advance, all three of these players are wingers, this is mainly because Everton’s clear struggles have been on the right-wing, and during the international break it’s usually forwards that tend to stand out the most.
