Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan is attracting a lot of attention from the Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga. Three English Top Flight sides, Everton, Leicester City and Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for the Turk.
Everton are supposedly looking for a midfielder as they remain linked to the likes of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey. Carlo Ancelotti will be very happy with the performances of Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure but the supporting cast of Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin poses some questions.

Davies was excellent in the No.6 role, covering for an injured Allan and his evolution under Ancelotti is truly commendable but the same cannot be said about Gomes. The Portuguese is skilful and can be the best player on the pitch on his day but he fails to get the best out of himself on most of the days. Delph being fit and available is a rare sight.
Gbamin’s never-ending rehabilitation finally is coming to an end and he’ll likely be available towards the end of the season but to expect top-notch performances from a player who hasn’t kicked a ball in over 18 months will be unreasonable.
With Everton’s ambition to achieve European qualification for next season, the load of playing four competitions next season could wear the players hence heaving depth in every department becomes necessary. The Royal Blues could have several candidates for the midfield role and it appears Tufan of Fenerbahce is certainly an option.
Everton battle Leicester City and Crystal Palace for Ozan Tufan
According to Turkish media outlet Ajansspor, Fenerbahce have five offers on the table for Tufan. Everton have reportedly tabled an offer for the 26-year-old but the Super Lig giants will not make a decision until the Euros are completed in the summer.
Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Werder Bremen and Real Sociedad are the other four teams who want Tufan. The midfielder is enjoying a rich run of form this season that has seen him score five goals and provide six assists in 27 Super Lig games while playing from the central midfield. Tufan can also slot into an attacking midfield role and be equally decisive for the team.
Fenerbahce wants at least €20 million for Tufan but believes that his stock could further rise after the Euros if he can do well with Turkey. As for Everton, the quest for a midfielder will continue and Tufan could certainly be a viable option but how the plot unfolds remains to be seen as Leicester City and Palace also remain in the hunt.
