The Adrien Rabiot transfer story is picking up pace as we are fed with new information almost every day on the Juventus midfielder. Everton seems to be an interested party in the Frenchman’s services but they are not the only suitors.

Juventus are almost certain about selling Rabiot as they aim to reduce their wage oversized wage budget in a bid to cut the losses due to the Corona Virus pandemic. The Old Lady are keeping track of the Kean situation who is blossoming on loan in Paris. PSG want to redeem him permanently and will sit on the negotiations bench with the Toffees at the end of the season. Since the loan was without a buy option, the ball is in Everton’ court and they can slap a hefty price tag but even Juventus are dreaming of signing their academy product.

Sales and swap deals will be important for Juventus and the club will generate cash from the sales of players like Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey. Everton are surely touted as a possible destination but Marseille have also registered interest and approached the Frenchman. However, Everton may have a slight boost when it comes to battling Marseille.

Everton target Adrien Rabiot not in favour of Marseille move

According to Calciomercato, Rabiot’s mother Veronique Rabiot who is also his agent is not too keen to see his son play for Marseille and would instead look for other offers. The report has also mentioned that Bayern Munich and Barcelona could be possible destinations but the player’s entourage will wait for a Premier League offer.

The Toffees’ long-standing interest in Rabiot makes them a strong contender. Barcelona are currently cash strapped and are targeting free agents along with one mega signing, possibly Erling Haaland. Bayern Munich are stable in the midfield.

Juve are set to ask for £25 million for Rabiot whose deal runs till 2023 in Turin. If Kean decides to go to Turin instead of continuing at PSG, a possible player plus cash swap deal is could be on the cards.
