The Moise Kean transfer saga is set to reach its culmination this summer. PSG want him more than anybody and the Italian striker is happy in Paris. The Ligue 1 giants will have to negotiate with Everton at the end of the season as the loan deal has no option to buy clause.
Several reports have been flying around indicating how PSG are approaching this deal. Initially, there were rumours of another loan deal with an option to buy. Later Fabrizio Romano said the Toffees will ask for £60 million for Kean. The striker’s stock has surely skyrocketed after his exploits in Paris this season and if things are handled well, Everton may pocket a handsome profit on the player who arrived at Goodison Park for €27.5 million plus €2.5 million in add-ons.

The Parisiens are not only interested party. Andrea Pirlo and Juventus remain determined to bring Kean back to Turin but chances are really slim as Kean is enjoying life in Paris. Mauricio Pochettino trusts him and includes him in the project, maybe even ahead of Mauro Icardi. In fact, when Juventus asked about Kean to his agent, Mino Raiola, the Kean entourage has conveyed that his wish is to continue with PSG beyond this season.
Everton will not be able to keep hold of the striker and will have to look in the market for a replacement or sign Joshua King permanently. Sadly, the electric form of Kean is not something that Everton fans resonate with a lot. Surely, the enthusiasts follow him at PSG but the 21-year-old didn’t produce anything close to what he is producing at Parc des Princes.
When he arrived from Turin, the amount of talent and potential he had at such an infant stage in his professional career surely left supporters flabbergasted. One year later, fans are shocked but for the wrong reasons. He simply couldn’t settle in Merseyside and be an attacking outlet for the team whenever he was presented with a chance.
Now watching him light up the Ligue 1 often poses the question of what went wrong at Goodison Park. PSG are in line to reap the benefits and potentially have a top-quality player who can perform for years if Kean continues his development at such a staggering rate. But, before that, the Ligue 1 giants need to ensure that the striker does end up in Paris for next season.
PSG have contacted Everton striker Moise Kean’s agent
According to Journalist Nicolo Schira, PSG Sporting director Leonardo has contacted Raiola, Kean’s agent, to work upon the possible transfer. Eventually, the Toffees and Le Parisiens will have to sit on the negotiations bench in the summer to discuss the fees and other details of the transfer.
Everton holds its cards close to the chest and will surely have the upper hand in negotiations. PSG desperately want Kean and Everton are well aware of it. The dry loan hasn’t worked in favour of PSG and now they wait for Everton’s price tag.
