Everton play Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday

Everton travel to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton and Hove Albion. The Toffees have the chance of propelling to seventh position if they manage to pick up three points on the road with one game in hand in comparison to their direct rivals in the fight for Europe.

Everton do have some injury concerns. Andre Gomes is unavailable after picking up a hamstring injury last week against Crystal Palace. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph are also sidelined meanwhile Jordan Pickford has started training but is not 100% and won’t be risked. Allan will undergo a late fitness test but he trained regularly with the team.

Brighton have played appealing football but that has not translated into their results. Everton failed to finish off their chances in the last game which eventually cost them two points. With James Rodriguez back in the side, the Toffees will have enough quality upfront in creating scoring opportunities.

Here’s how Everton could lineup against Brighton and Hove Albion:

Goalkeeper: Robin Olsen

With Jordan Pickford out, Carlo Ancelotti will once again turn to Robin Olsen. The Swede didn’t have a busy night between the posts against Crystal Palace, pulling off three saves. Olsen will want to make the most of his chances and be reliable between the sticks.
