Moise Kean is one of the most talked footballers in France, England and Italy. The Everton striker looks like a man reborn in Paris after enduring a tumultuous first season at Goodison Park. Kean arrived in 2019 on the back of a promising campaign with the Old Lady, scoring 7 goals in 17 games.
He arrived at Finch Farm as this young attacker who could become a top striker if provided with the right tutelage and nourishment. The potential was always there in Kean but somehow the Italian failed to unlock him and unleash himself in Merseyside.

Last summer, the striker wanted out of Everton to play regular football, something that wasn’t coming easily at Goodison Park. PSG signed him on a dry loan and instantly hit the ground running, scoring a brace on his second PSG appearance. The goalscoring party hasn’t stopped since then as Kean now has 16 goals in 33 outings for the Ligue 1 giants.
Convinced of his abilities, PSG director Leonardo wants to keep him in Paris. Courtesy of the loan deal being without a buy option, the Les Rouge et Bleu will have to negotiate a transfer separately at the end of the season. PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino also admires Kean and will appreciate having him for the next season but negotiations won’t be easy for PSG.
Everton will not accept an offer of less than €40 million for Moise Kean
There has been a lot of talk surrounding the correct market value of Kean in this pandemic affected market but there are now several estimations coming out as to what Everton are expecting. According to Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, PSG will have to shell out a minimum of €40 million to convince Everton. The Toffees are expecting a starting price of €40 million and won’t be willing to accept anything less than that.
Leonardo is set to meet Everton in the coming weeks and will start to negotiate with the English club to keep Kean beyond this season. At the moment, Juventus are also in the background, If PSG fail to close the deal or adhere to the asking price, Juventus may swoop in.
The Old Lady are rebuilding their side and see Kean as an important piece of the rebuild. However, the Italian striker seems very happy in Paris and reportedly favours staying with Les Parisiens rather than move back to his homeland. PSG are ready to take steps to ensure Kean doesn’t leave but the negotiations will be tricky.
