Everton will welcome Aston Villa to Goodison Park on Saturday night in what is a must-win match for the Blues if they want to play in Europe next season.

The 1-0 victory against Arsenal came at the right time for Everton as it seemed anything but a win against the Gunners could sink the chances of European competition, which has been a stated goal of Carlo Ancelotti.

The goal was lucky, but with road wins against Arsenal few and far between, Bernd Leno’s own-goal will be remembered by Everton supporters as if it were a 30-yard drive or a free-kick bent brilliantly around the wall.

Villa comes into the match in a slump with only 2 wins in their last 10 outings and some injuries, especially to their talismanic captain Jack Grealish.

Everton, who are in eighth place but just three points out of fifth and have a game in hand are much better off, injury wise. Only Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Abdoulaye Doucoure are missing.

Here’s how we think Everton will line-up against Villa on Saturday night.
