Everton: More Moise Kean updates as PSG and Juventus speculation continues
The upcoming summer transfer window will be a big event in determining the career path of Moise Kean. The decision made by the young striker will have an impact on his playing career for years to come. Everton have made it clear that if Kean has the desire to leave the club. The Toffees will sell him.
Kean arrived as a promising striker who was supposed to be part of a long term project at Goodison Park. However, lack of game time in his first season and troubles in adjusting to the English game prompted him to leave on loan last summer. PSG managed to sign him on a dry loan without any option to buy.
Never did the PSG chiefs or Everton imagine that the player would explode in Paris and score some outrageous goals. In 41 appearances for Les Rouge et Bleu, the Italian striker scored 17 goals. The French club are now convinced to the extent that they want to sign him permanently and could hand him the starting striker’s role should Mauro Icardi leave the club.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino has been impressed with the youngster’s play and while he still needs polishing, the progress in such a short span of time is commendable. However, PSG will have to negotiate a transfer separately which gives a big advantage to the Toffees as they hold all the chips.
The future of Everton striker Moise Kean is yet to be sorted
Now, as per a report from French outlet Le10 Sport, PSG may find difficulties in signing Kean even though the player’s desire is to remain with the French giants. Negotiating and agreeing on a transfer fee could be a possible hurdle as Everton’s valuation of Kean will remain high after his successful loan spell. The report states that the Royal Blues are set to demand a substantial sum in the region of €45-€50 million. PSG may table another loan offer albeit this time with an option to buy.
The other possible hurdle is Juventus. The Old Lady have been dreaming of a reunion with their academy product since last season but all their efforts have so far gone in vain. Kean is still unsure where he’ll play next season and Juve want to take advantage of this hesitation. The player remains in contact with Juve players like Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

Kean leaving Everton is almost certain. Carlo Ancelotti has also relayed his thoughts over Kean’s future insisting that if a player wants to leave then the club and interested parties will have to sit on the negotiation table.
"If he wants to stay in Paris, the only way out is to find an agreement. I do not want unhappy players here and if there are players who are not happy to stay at Everton, they can ask to leave. There is no problem. I want players who are happy and want to stay at Everton and feel that they are part of this project. There is no player I can force to stay here (via Le10 Sport)"
It seems Kean’s future lies away from Everton but yet his destination isn’t sorted. PSG will discuss a possible transfer but there is no guarantee that the deal will happen. The next few weeks will be crucial for Kean. Even for Everton, they may need to start searching for his replacement.
