Everton will look to continue their unbeaten run in the 21/22 season as the Toffees head down to the Amex to take on another team in good form, Brighton & Hove Albion. Graham Potter’s side currently sit 4th in the Premier League, winning both of their previous games against Burnley and Watford, along with a 2-0 win in the EFL Cup against Cardiff.
Rafa Benitez‘s Everton are also unbeaten, with a win against Southampton and a draw against Leeds, with the Toffees showing a lot of improvement, especially when it comes to getting back into games, something that was really lacking under Carlo Ancelotti. Players like Alex Iwobi and Abdoulaye Doucoure have shown real improvement, especially Iwobi who has been involved in four of the seven goals that Everton have scored in this campaign.
The Toffees will be looking to continue their good start with a huge three points, and fans will be hoping for a similar performance to the one Everton put on in the 20/21 season, where they beat Brighton 4-2 at Goodison Park, and not the 0-0 draw that took place at the Amex where Everton looked spineless, putting in one of their worst displays of the season.
