Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in three games for Everton

Forwards:

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Appearances – 3

Starts – 3

Minutes played – 250

Goals/Assists – 3/0

Rating – 8

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in as many games and has started his season in fine fashion. He looks sharper, confident and has taken the mantle to be the prime goalscorer for the Toffees.

He has been lethal in front of goal and is now seen as an experienced and a senior player in the team despite being just 24. The Englishman has already made 150 Premier League appearances and now has a talismanic presence in the team.

Richarlison

Appearances – 3

Starts – 3

Minutes played – 269

Goals/Assists – 1/1

Rating – 7

Richarlison was fantastic against Southampton, scoring one goal and assisting another while also being a threat in the final third but he failed to hit similar levels against Leeds and Brighton. He is a hard worker which bodes well with Rafa Benitez who expects high intensity and dedication on and off the ball. Richarlison was targeted by PSG and they would’ve launched a move had Kylian Mbappe left for Real Madrid but with Richarlison now staying this season, the Brazilian will want to have an impactful season.

Alex Iwobi

Appearances – 4

Starts – 2

Minutes played – 142

Goals/Assists – 1/1

Rating – 7

Alex Iwobi seems to be a different man under Rafa Benitez. So far, the Nigerian had done very little in two seasons to justify his £35 million price tag but under the Spaniard, he just seems to finally have a productive season. This could be a meake or break season for him as fans and maybe even the Everton hierarchy are starting to run out of patience. He has been rotated with Townsend and will have an extended role this season.
