Lucas Digne has been deemed fit by Everton boss Rafa Benitez

Defence:

Left back: Lucas Digne

Lucas Digne’s injury scare in the Carabao Cup wasn’t so serious that he would’ve to miss the Norwich clash. The Frenchman was underwhelming against Aston Villa but bounced back against QPR. He’ll wish to carry that momentum against Farke’s side.

Centre back: Michael Keane

Michael Keane could’ve gotten a complete rest against QPR had it not been for Digne’s injury scare. Before the QPR game, Keane played every minute of the season. The Englishman had a shaky start but has recovered well as the season has progressed. Keane is Benitez’s first choice and will be the leader in the defence.

Centre back: Yerry Mina

Yerry Mina’s start to the season has been decent and assuring. His towering physique and aggression has worked well for Benitez. With Ben Godfrey likely to start as a right back, Mina will keep his place in the central defence alongside Keane. His battle with Teemu Pukki will be the one to watch.

Right back: Ben Godfrey

Ben Godfrey had a shocking game against QPR, completely dominated by Charlie Austin. The Englishman will want to have a solid outing against his former side and help Everton in the process.

Against Villa, Godfrey’s involvement on the right flank would surely give encouraging signs even though the Toffees lost the game. He made runs forward and combined well with Andros Townsend.
