Everton predicted lineup vs Brentford: Three changes as Salomon Rondon starts up top in 4-4-1-1
Lucas Digne could play an important role against Brentford
Defence:
Left back: Lucas Digne
Over the course of the season, Lucas Digne’s attacking contributions have diminished which has been a big reason for his slump. The French full back is known for his attacking instincts and darting delicious crosses in the box but his output has dropped which can be a cause of concern. With Brentford playing a wing back and a three man defence, Digne may get a few opportunities to showcase his offensive abilities and contribute to the attack.
Centre back: Michael Keane
Michael Keane has played every minute of the Premier League so far and will likely start today’s game as Holgate and Mina remain unavailable. The Englishman had a very busy game against Manchester City and may have another such outing against the strike force of Toney and Bryan Mbuemo.
Centre back: Ben Godfrey
Ben Godfrey was probably the best defender against the Citizens, covering his areas well and blocking attempts. He has a weakness of being out of position at times which he has to improve upon. His pace will be useful in dealing with the threat of Toney and Mbuemo who can kove with staggering pace.
Right back: Seamus Coleman
Seamus Coleman might have a difficult game against Rico Henry, who is flying for the Bees at the moment. Coleman has often got into attacking positions, complementing the right wide player but his loss of pace has often worked against him.
