Everton host Arsenal at Goodison Park on Monday night

Everton are in a state of turmoil on and off the pitch. The terrible run of results on the pitch engulfed by the boardroom chaos has left the Toffees in a more vulnerable position than ever. Communication gap can destroy any relationship and the Everton fans are gulping down the sorrow of it sip by sip.

The lack of communication between the fans and the club hierarchy is more evident than ever, grey clouds are hovering over the club. The Toffees have no time to deal with the off the field crisis as the festive fixtures are coming thick and fast.

After the 4-1 Merseyside derby humiliation at Goodison Park, Everton now host Arsenal on Monday. Everton have dropped to 16th place in the table, five points above the drop zone. Going into the game, the Merseysiders have just one win in last 11 games and have picked up just two points out of possible 24 points in the last eight Premier League games.

The Toffees will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin but there are chances of Yerry Mina returning. Salomon Rondon will also undergo a fitness test ahead of the game after he picked up a hamstring injury. Mason Holgate will be back after serving his red card suspension.

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford let four past him in the derby, taking his total to 21 goals conceded in 13 games. The miserable form has also affected Pickford as, despite his best efforts, he has failed to keep clean sheets. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struggling in front of the goal, Pickford may have a slightly easy game if the monster doesn’t awaken himself.
