Yerry Mina could return to the Everton lineup

Defence:

Right back: Seamus Coleman

Seamus Coleman had a horror show against Liverpool and was left red faced by the Liverpool attack. Understandably so, he was disgruntled and unsatisfied with his performance. The lack of depth at right back has haunted Everton for a couple of seasons now but with no other option, Coleman will again take the role on the right side of the defence.

Centre back: Yerry Mina

Yerry Mina hasn’t featured for Everton since the October international break ended. He has missed seven games on the trot but Rafa Benitez indicated that he trained partially and could be available for selection depending on his condition.

Mina was instrumental in Everton’s defence and his displays were one of the reasons why the team maintained defensive soundness during the early days of the campaign.

Centre back: Michael Keane

Michael Keane will undoubtedly start and could see Mina return as his defensive partner. The Englishman had a forgetful game against Liverpool and he will be hoping to perform better.

Left back: Lucas Digne

Lucas Digne will have his work cut out in negating the threat of Bukayo Saka. The Frenchman struggled massively against Mohamed Salah but he’ll be expected to have a better game. The 28 year old did offer some attacking threats and will want to offer more while going forward.
