Bayern Munich eye Everton attacker as Robert Lewandowski replacement
Everton are battling for their survival in the Premier League. At one point, it looked like a lost cause but the Toffees resurrected and managed to rise from the dungeons of relegation. One of the prime faces for Everton’s revival in form is Richarlison.
The Brazilian has been relentless and continuously committed to Everton’s cause. He has been Everton’s talisman, a player who has become a household favourite in Merseyside. As the Brazilian climbed the steps to stardom at Everton, big fishes noticed his flair.
In the past, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and a few other giants have flirted with the idea of signing the Brazilian. It took Carlo Ancelotti to convince Richarlison to stay and not to listen to Barcelona’s offers. When the Italian manager moved to Madrid, there were strong rumours of Don Carlo wanting the attacker at Santiago Bernabeu.
When the Los Blancos launched three ambitious and opportunistic offers for Kylian Mbappe, Richarlison was considered his replacement had PSG let Mbappe leave. Even in a season where Everton have struggled in all departments which have seen them nosedive into the bottom five of the Premier League, Richarlison’s quality and industrious play have been the saving grace.
Bayern Munich consider Everton striker Richarlison as Lewandowski successor
Earlier this year, Richarlison gave an interview where he wholeheartedly spoke about repaying the affection bestowed upon him by the fans. He wanted to play the Champions League with Everton and make history at the club but as things stand, the Toffees are miles behind their dream. At the moment, they are fighting for their survival.
Everton need to secure a win in two games to ensure Premier League safety. Only then, they can reboot for next season. But in between the season end and the next season lies the summer transfer window. There have always been growing fears that if the Royal Blues fail to succeed in their relegation battle, prized assets like Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will depart.
Regardless of Everton’s Premier League status, they will receive offers for the iconic duo. Richarlison changed his agency recently and has been rumoured to explore new options in the market. According to Calciomercato, German giants Bayern Munich have contacted the representatives of Richarlison to know the possibility of a transfer.

Robert Lewandowski is set to leave Bayern in the summer transfer window with Barcelona having a verbal agreement with the Polish poacher. The Bavarians are scanning the market to locate his successor and view the former Watford player as a viable candidate.
Of course, other sides like Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Real Madrid have shown interest. It is only a matter of time before teams across Europe start calling Everton for Richarlison. It will now depend on the team and the player on which calls to answer and which calls to reject.
