Everton predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace: Two changes in the 5-4-1 formation
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the Everton attack
Attack:
Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Dominic Calvert-Lewin got his first goal since August in the last game which would have done a whole lot of good for his confidence. The player won physical battles, made smart runs and came close to scoring again but the numerical superiority of Brentford meant that Calvert-Lewin was often isolated in attack as the rest of the team defended.
In eight games he’s played against Palace, the Englishman has scored three goals and assisted one. He could be an ideal candidate to be on the score sheet.
Demarai Gray’s role reduced?
Against a side like Palace which has a high engaging line, the terrifying pace and skill of Demarai Gray can be a big weapon. Coming off the bench will have more of an impact, as a fresh injection of pace can create all sorts of problems.
Everton’s last home game
The tie against Crystal Palace is set to be Everton’s last home game this season. The most electrifying atmospheres have been created at Goodison and perhaps the players will be putting an extra effort to win the game and pay back the faith that the fans have shown in them. In the last 10 seasons, Everton have won five of their final home games of the season.
