Jean-Philippe Gbamin – CSKA Moscow
Jean-Philippe Gbamin has put together quite a season in Moscow and is set to return to Everton in July.
Gbamin has not been a flashy player for his club with only one goal to his name this season but he has been the backbone for CSKA Moscow and continued his consistency this month.
CSKA Moscow only had four matches to finish their season in May and the team struggled. Gbamin sat out for the team’s Russian Premier League match against Krasnodar due to a suspension but played well in his last three starts for Moscow.
In the final match of the season, Gbamin and his club put together an outstanding performance. The team won the match 4-0 and Gbamin played for 86 minutes. CSKA Moscow will miss their young defensive midfielder next season.
