When Everton announced Frank Lampard as their new manager, many expected that Lampard’s courteous relationship with Chelsea may allow the Toffees to bring some Chelsea starlets to Goodison Park either temporarily or on a permanent deal.
Chelsea sends a lot of their youngsters on loan and sometimes they do sell them if the team is filled with quality in that area to generate cash which allows them to go big in the transfer market.
When at Chelsea, Lampard was instrumental in developing burgeoning youngsters and giving them the confidence to compete at the top level. Lampard had a huge role to play in the development of Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount, Reece James and so many other youngsters.
His arrival at Everton did sound like a melody to the ears of Anthony Gordon and Jarrad Branthwaite. Gordon has been blossoming under Lampard and has emerged as one of the best players this season for Everton.
With the Toffees looking for great deals in the transfer market, Lampard could use his connections to get exciting Chelsea youngsters either on loan or a permanent deal. The Toffees have already been linked to some Chelsea players in this transfer window.
