Conor Gallager scored twice against Everton this season

2. Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher has already been linked with Everton. The Chelsea starlet was on loan at Crystal Palace and the 22 year old sparkled under Patrick Vieira. Thriving in his box to box role, Gallagher racked up eight goals and assisted another three in 34 Premier League games. He was Palace’s key midfielder and allowed them to easily transition from defence to attack.

Everton have shown interest in Gallagher alongside Crystal Palace and West Ham United. However, there are no indications from Chelsea about what lies next for Gallagher. Voted as Palace’s player of the season, Gallagher will return to his parent club and Tuchel is likely to sit down and discuss Gallagher’s future with the player.

In case, a solution cannot be found at Chelsea, the Blues of London could sell him or send him out on loan again. Everton should remain alert and try to lure him to Goodison Park if the opportunity arises.

Gallagher will have a host of clubs chasing him but that’s where Lampard could swoop in and try convince the 22 year old to join the Toffees. Everton have been crying out for an energetic and savvy midfielder like Gallagher.

Especially, if a midfield clearout takes place, the Toffees will need a versatile option like Gallagher. The Englishman is valued at £22.5 million by Transfermarkt so the Merseysiders will have to spend big bucks to sign the Englishman.
