Everton anticipate bids for £85 million plus rated duo
Richarlison has been Everton’s most prized asset who is attracting interest from Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. Both the sides have held a concrete interest in the Brazilian and are eager to open negotiations with Everton for the 25 year old.
While Chelsea are moving slowly, Spurs are ready with the plan to test Everton’s resolve. The Toffees are expecting a bid of £60 million – £65 million for Richarlison but Spurs have come up with a different plan.
Amid all the Richarlison to Spurs talk, there could be one player who could move the other way as Everton remain keen on Harry Winks. So far there have been no indications if Winks will be part of a player plus cash deal for Richarlison or if the two clubs will negotiate two separate transfers.
Chelsea view the 25 year old as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku who is set to join Inter Milan on a season long loan deal. A lot might also depend on Chelsea’s negotiations with Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling but Richarlison remains a player that Chelsea are keeping an eye on.
Everton expect bids for Richarlison and Anthony Gordon
On the other hand, Tottenham have already devised a plan. The North Londoners are not only planning to sign Richarlison from Everton but also make a swoop for homegrown talent in Anthony Gordon, as per Sky Sports. Tottenham considers Gordon a star for the future and wants to sign him from Everton.
As per the report, Spurs are targeting a package deal for Richarlison and Gordon. While it has already been conveyed as to how much are Everton expecting for the Brazilian, no such figure revealed for Gordon. The 21 year old’s market value stands at £18 million as per Transfermarkt but the Toffees will be expecting a much bigger offer even if they are remotely considering Gordon’s departure.
Everton already knows of Tottenham’s interest in Richarlison and Gordon and they are anticipating an offer from Spurs by the end of this week. In any case, Everton would not like to be pressured into the Brazilian’s sale.
As for Gordon, Frank Lampard has been in awe of the youngster and is regarded as one of the most talented players at the club. The Merseysiders should not sell Gordon at any costs. He’s the future of the club and has a bright future in an Everton jersey. Nonetheless, a package offer for both Richarlison and Gordon will soon arrive.
