Everton seem to be already working on transfers for the summer and have already been linked to a few names. Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi is the latest name to be linked with a move to Goodison Park in the summer.

Everton are strategizing for the summer and midfield seems to be the area that they are planning to strengthen. The Toffees have taken stock of Dennis Geiger’s situation who is out of contract at Hoffenheim at the season. The German is free to negotiate pre-contract terms with a foreign club as Everton and Benfica keep tabs on the 24 year old.

The Toffees have also been linked to Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada who is also set to become a free agent in the summer. The Japanese international is looking for a new challenge and Everton are paying close attention to the situation. Alongside the Merseysiders, Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked to Kamada.

The Toffees could potentially lose two midfielders from their roster as Tom Davies and Abdoulaye Doucoure are in the final five months of their contract. There has been little indication if a new deal is going to be offered, although chances of Doucoure getting an extension are higher given his importance in Sean Dyche’s system.

Everton eye Davide Frattesi

According to Tutto Juve, Everton are one of several clubs interested in signing Frattesi from Sassuolo in the summer. The Serie A club has offers from Premier League clubs for the 23 year old. The Italian has caught the eye with his performances in the Italian league and has become an important part of the Saussolo team.

Juventus are closely following the 23 year old and could be interested in a summer move. Sassuolo value him at €35 million which is €10 million higher than Juventus’ valuation. I Neroverdi has offers from Premier League clubs, including Everton, Brighton and Leicester City.

Brighton could be in position to spend big money in the summer as Moises Caicedo is touted to leave in the summer for big bucks. Everton, on the other hand, remain in a delicate financial situation. They could see Amadou Onana leave in the summer which gives them the necessary funds to sign Frattesi from Sassuolo.

The player is valued at €22 million as per Transfermarkt but given his sturdy performances in Serie A, Sassuolo will try their best to sell him for a higher price.
