After the embarrassment of the January transfer window, Everton have started early for the summer transfer window. The Toffees are already identifying targets for the summer and are possibly looking at ways to reignite talks with January targets. The udinese duo of Beto and Rodrigo Becao feature on that list.

Sean Dyche already has a monumental task on his hands as he tries to salvage Everton’s season and save them from relegation. If the 51 year old manages to guide the Toffees to safety, he will be expecting resources in the summer in order to strengthen the side that lacks in several areas.

The Toffees will need to sign a forward in the summer as Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains injury prone and the cycle of ins and outs of the team continues. Neal Maupay just hasn’t cut it at Everton and doesn’t offer the desired threat going forward. Ellis Simms is raw and cannot shoulder the responsibility of leading the frontline all by himself.

Everton ready with £31 million offer for Beto and Rodrigo Becao

Everton tried to sign Duvan Zapata, Viktor Gyokeres and Beto in the summer. The Toffees are still keeping tabs on Zapata, meanwhile, Udinese forward Beto is also on the list. Recently, Udinese technical director Pierpaolo Marino admitted that keeping hold of the 25 year old striker will be tough in the summer. The Serie A side rejected a huge bid in January, possibly from Everton.

Beto has seven goals in 23 Serie A games and continues to catch the attention of several clubs across Europe. Similar is the case of Rodrigo Becao. He was also an Everton target in the winter transfer window.

With Yerry Mina’s deal expiring in the summer and no decision made yet for Conor Coady, EFC may look to bring a centre back in the summer transfer window and Becao could be one of the targets on the list. The physical and robust centre back has been an important part of the Udinese backline, playing 17 games so far. According to Tutto Udinese, Everton could attempt signing Becao and Beto at once in the summer.

The Italian club is expecting multiple offers for both of their prized assets. Everton are ready to put £31 million for the duo. Signing both will strengthen two areas on the pitch in one go. The frontline definitely requires reinforcements, meanwhile, the rearguard could see major changes this summer.

With Udinese braced for strong interest in Beto and Becao, Everton are expected to dface competition for the duo. Perhaps, the Toffees will need to up their £31 million offer in the summer if bigger sharks join the race.
