The time has finally arrived for Everton to leave the UK and head to the United States for the Premier League Summer Series. The set of matches also includes Bournemouth, West Ham, and Manchester United.

Everton departed earlier today and will begin the tour in the New York City area, where they'll train, participate in a few events for supporters, and face off against Bournemouth at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, at 4 PM ET on Saturday, July 26.

Their next match on the tour will take place in Chicago, although the broadcast during Saturday's preseason match against Blackburn indicated that they'd be training in Atlanta between matches. While there will be further events in the Windy City leading up to the match, the midweek contest will match Everton against David Moyes' former employer West Ham at Soldier Field beginning at 6:30 PM ET on Wednesday, July 30.

The tour will return to Atlanta for the last few days, with more supporter-focused events throughout the weekend. The Toffees will play Manchester United at Mercedes Benz Stadium at 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, August 3.

From the looks of the photos, the trip is going to feature most of the healthy first team players, with the likes of Jordan Pickford, Iliman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gana Gueye, James Tarkowski, and new striker Thierno Barry visible. Playing time will be something to watch, especially for the latter two, since the defender has yet to return from his season-ending injury from last year, while Barry hasn't had much training since his arrival.

The club has not released a full list of the players that are traveling, though it would be expected that list would also include plenty of youngsters who are bound for the U21s or U18s or even out on loan at other clubs this season.

This is the Blues' first trip to the United States since the summer of 2022, where they visited Baltimore to play Arsenal and Minneapolis to face MLS side Minnesota United, then managed by Everton legend Adrian Heath. They lost both matches.

Before that, they hoisted the Florida Cup in 2021 in Orlando against Pumas and Millonarios, and also toured the States back in 2011.
