As we noted just a few days ago, Everton logged an interest in Bayern Munich left back Adam Aznou, who was on loan at Spanish side Valladaloid for part of last season.

The defender, who just turned 19 in early June, reportedly turned in his transfer request and the German giants are apparanetly happy to honor that.

And now multiple reports from Paddy Boyland of The Athletic, Fabrizio Romano, and The Bobble indicate that Everton are not only in advanced talks, but that Bayern have accepted the bid and Aznou will be an Everton player very soon.

While Everton supporters would be within their rights to be triggered by Romano's famous "here we go," the inclusion of those other names, particuarly the mysterious Bobble, should give fans hope that the deal will get done.

The deal, which will reportedly be worth €9 million with a potential €3 million in add-ons. All sides suggest that the deal could be confirmed within the next day or two.

This is a remarkably exciting signing for the Toffees, especially at that fee. While Aznou likely won't be able to step in and immediately supplant Vitalii Mykolenko as the starting left back, his skill set shows a modern full back who can get up and down the pitch using pace and athleticism.

Where Aznou will fit into the Everton squad this season will be something to watch, as his natural talent is already far beyond Mykolenko's. So the young Moroccan international adjusts quickly to the Premier League, he could step in quite soon.

Either way, this is an exciting move for the future of Everton Football Club, and should be one that supporters should be thrilled about.
