EA Sports’ EAFC 26 video game and its mobile companion have officially dropped, and unlike previous years, Toffee fans can actually look forward to seeing one of their own players being part of the exciting roll out.

Jack Grealish won the Premier League Player of the Month in August, the first time the player has ever recieved that award. The Englishman delivered four assists for the Toffees, two of those coming in Everton’s first Premier League match at their new stadium. There was simply no other player in the league that had the same amount of impact he did in the beginning of the season.

Unfortunately, EA Sports hasn’t dropped a POTM card for him in the main game (yet), but EAFC Mobile, which recently launched their newest update to mark the start of a new season, released a 111 rated card of the player.

Yes, you heard that right.

Grealih’s card came as part of EAFC’s Anniversary Event and has the same rating as his friend Erling Haaland, Ibrahimovic, and others.

Jack Grealish’s attributes

In-game rating

105

Passing

134

129

Defending

122 Pace, 134 Passing, and 129 Dribbling… are we sure the person making these ratings isn’t an Everton fan?

In all seriousness, Jack Grealish has had a blistering start to life as a Toffee, so it’s fitting for him to receive such an exciting card. Little things like this also give the fans tangible ways to enjoy the success of their players, which is something this fanbase has lacked in recent years.

And who knows? Perhaps a random kid picks up the game, gets Grealish’s card, and begins to follow the team we all know by heart.
