After an early international break to further cement the 2026 World Cup field, the Premier League returns to play this weekend, with Everton hosting Aston Villa at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.
It will be the third official match in the history of the new stadium, so expect the atmosphere to continue to be top-notch as the Toffees acclimate to the brand new ground.
The two clubs are coming into the match going in opposite directions so far this season, with Everton sitting in 5th place through three matches with six points and a plus-two goal difference, while Villa have just one point and sit in 19th place. The Villans are also the only Premier League squad not to score a goal yet this season.
Everton will look to continue that run on both sides, as they'll want to remain unbeaten at home as well as keep Villa off the scoresheet for a fourth straight Premier League match.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the major match notes, as well as how you can watch today's match.
