Everton are back in action on Saturday, facing Ipswich Town at home as they look to build on a solid start to the new season. The Toffees have picked up six points from their first four games, and while there is room for improvement, they are currently ninth and will be satisfied with how good they have been at the back, and they also progressed in the cup during the week.
As for Ipswich, they lost to Arsenal in the cup during the week, but that result followed a big away win over Crystal Palace, which was their second victory of the Premier League season so far.
Ahead of this weekend's clash, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding each of these sides.
Jack Taylor - Out
Taylor is not ready to return yet and will remain out until after the international break with a knee issue.
Emersonn - Doubt
Gary O'Neil said last week: "He's got a tight quad. No one thinks he's too bad, but with just quick checks after the game, it's hard for me to be too accurate with you. But we don't see there being a problem for Everton. I'll probably rest him in the week, I would think." Until Emersonn is confirmed as available, he will remain a doubt for now.
Azor Matusiwa - Doubt
O'Neil said last week: "Azor will obviously be a little bit longer before he's available to start football matches, but he's ready for minutes now. We can start to get him back in and around matchday squads." Matusiwa may well play here, or at least make it to the squad, but it's a case of waiting to see when the Tractor Boys will take than next step.
Christian Norgaard - Out
Moyes said last week: "We're hoping we get [him] back somewhere after the international break. He's hugely important for us. He's someone who we're looking forward to gaining his experience and his nous - but, at the moment, we haven't had him on the grass yet. Hopefully, it won't be too long."
Merlin Rohl - Doubt
Rohl missed out with an injury last week and will naturally be a doubt here.
Harrison Armstrong - Doubt
Moyes said this week: "He got a little injury in training. We assessed him this morning and he wasn't ready. We are hopeful he will be ready for the weekend. It is not a major injury." Armstrong will go down as a doubt for now.
