FPL: Which Everton stars are Fantasy managers trusting the most?

One Toffee features in almost one in five FPL teams.

We’ve had 8 gameweeks so far in the Premier League, which means 8 weeks of Fantasy Premier League, or FPL. Love it or hate it, more than 11 million people worldwide are playing it.

Teams can only have a maximum of 3 players per club, so there’s a wide variety of players and selections to choose from. FPL Managers would have been quick to cash in on Everton’s positive start to the season, but that may have tailed off in recent weeks.

These 5 Everton players lead the statistics in terms of Team Selected by % - the metric used to show how many FPL teams they feature in:

5. Beto

Price - 5.3 million
Owned by - 3.7% of teams

Beto provides an affordable bench striker option when others like Erling Haaland are almost three times the price. The Guinea-Bissau international has only yielded one goal so far this season. He’s the 15th most-picked striker in FPL, a flattering statistic, given the overwhelming lack of options up top in the game.

4. James Tarkowski

Price - 5.5 million
Owned by - 7.1% of teams

James Tarkowski is regularly a top performer in FPL for his defensive contributions and semi-consistent clean sheets. His ownership percentage was likely higher in August and September when Everton were conceding fewer goals. However, he’s still the 16th most-picked defender in the game, ranking 28th in points scored in his position.

3. Jordan Pickford

Price - 5.5 million
Owned by - 10.1% of teams

Everton’s number one will go down in FPL folklore, ranking as the top performer of all goalkeepers between 2023 and 2025. That pits him amongst the more expensive choices, so his ownership will be slightly lower given Everton’s four-game conceding streak. Pickford, who signed a new contract at the club recently, ranks 8th among goalkeepers in points.

2. Iliman Ndiaye

Price - 6.5 million
Owned by - 10.9% of teams

Iliman Ndiaye’s star shines brighter by the week. The Senegalese international is impressing on the pitch and earning plenty of FPL points along the way. His four goal contributions in eight games place him 10th in points scored per FPL midfielders. Interestingly, around 250,000 teams transferred him into their teams since Gameweek 2.

1. Jack Grealish

Price - 6.9 million
Owned by - 18.5% of teams

Unsurprisingly, golden boy Jack is our most popular player in FPL. He’s hit the ground running, and then some, since joining on loan from Manchester City in the summer. Despite missing last weekend’s game, he ranks 9th in points per game among midfielders. He’s also the 5th most-owned player in his position.
