Amadou Onana has been continually linked with a move away from Goodison Park ever since he arrived at the club and rumours have already began circulating regarding a summer transfer for the Everton midfielder.
With the ongoing takeover saga and farcical investigations into Everton’s PSR breaches, the Toffees financial issues show little signs of going away any time soon.
Therefore the Merseyside club may be forced once again into selling some of their most prized assets, with Amadou Onana thought to be attracting potential suitors.
The latest rumour emerging from Spanish news outlet Sport suggests that Barcelona are hoping to structure a deal which would involve a player swap.
As reported in The Mirror, the Spanish giants are looking to offer a cash sum plus a choice of four players for Dyche’s team to pick from as part of the deal.
Everton are expected to have to choose from the following players:
Sergino Dest
The 23-year-old American is currently on loan at PSV, who sit 10 points clear at the top of the Eredivisie. Dest is an attacking right-back, which may well be a position that Dyche looks to invest in for next season with Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young’s future unclear and an apparent lack of faith from the boss in Nathan Patterson.
Fermin Lopez
The 20-year-old has broke into Xavi’s side this year and featured regularly, scoring 3 goals in 22 appearances so far this season. The young Spaniard is considered as a technically-gifted attacking midfielder and would a different dimension to Everton’s attack if he was to join the Toffees next season.
Clement Lenglet
Clement Lenglet has spent this season at Aston Villa and, having struggled to get in the side during the first half of the season, has featured regularly since the turn of the year. As a dependable, left-footed centre back, Lenglet could be viewed as a potential replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite, who has also been heavily linked with a move away from Everton in the summer.
Ansu Fati
Fati was earmarked as the next wonderkid to come from Barcelona after coming through the La Masia academy, but an injury-ravaged couple of years has seen his development stall.
Currently on loan at Brighton, another injury-plagued season has seen the young starlet fail to live up to the fanfare that greeted his arrival to the Premier League.
